AutoScout24 strengthens Second Management Level

With four new vice presidents, AutoScout24 is rearranging itself in its anniversary year: Dr. Robert Zores (Technology), Dr. Jürgen Brock (Marketing), Axel Lieske (Finance) and Giovanni Fantasia (Sales) are strengthening the second management level at Europe’s large car portal.

“With our new vice presidents, we will be even more innovative and effective in the future,” says Dr. Nicola Carbonari, CEO of AutoScout24. “Innovative products and technologies, eye-catching marketing measures and an internationally successful sales team will bring us further growth in our tenth year. Through the new organisation structure, we are also optimising our internal processes,” continues Carbonari.

With Dr. Robert Zores, AutoScout24 has a Vice President Technology for the first time, starting immediately. “Innovations in product and IT are of decisive importance for an online platform,” says Dr. Nicola Carbonari. “With Robert Zores, we want to accelerate work in this area in the future.” The 45-year-old certified physicist comes from mgm technology partners, where he advised companies on a top management level as a freelance consultant. Previously, Zores worked as CTO for the Smartcard manufacturer Sagem Orga and for AOL, among others.

Dr. Jürgen Brock also started on 1st April as Vice President Marketing and is responsible for marketing, PR and editing throughout the whole of Europe. The 38-year-old was previously employed as the senior director and manager of strategic marketing for Europe, the Middle East and Africa (EMEA) at Fujitsu Siemens Computers. Before this, he worked in various sales and marketing positions in the IT industry, including for Apple Computers.

Axel Lieske will take up his position as Vice President Finance on 1st July. The 36-year-old accountant initially worked as an audit manager at KPMG for five years after his business management degree, among other places. Then he was employed at Intertainment AG as a commercial manager. Currently, Lieske works as an independent auditor, advising various listed companies, particularly in the fields of IT and media.

Giovanni Fantasia (38) has been on-board as the Vice President Sales since the start of the year. The certified information technician is responsible for the fields of Classified and Ad Sales throughout the whole of Europe. Fantasia has already worked for AutoScout24 since 2004, lastly as a Country Manager at AutoScout24 Italy. All four vice presidents report directly to the management, consisting of CEO Dr. Nicola Carbonari and COO Dr. Nikolas Deskovic.
