European automobile know-how for a European public: In the future, users of ViaMichelin can directly access the car market of AutoScout24. Effective immediately, Europe's large car market on the Internet is directly linked with a search box on the home page of the online travel portal. Moreover, the AutoScout24 editorial team will be exclusively responsible for the newsletter "Automobile and Mobility" by ViaMichelin. The completely revised portal of the Europe-wide established travel and tourism specialist will now offer – through its cooperation with AutoScout24 – yet more up-to-date and topical information for the automobile-interested public.
"We are offering from one source not only one of Europe's largest automobile marketplaces with currently about 1.8 million vehicles on offer but also sound editorial automobile competence", said Dr. Nicola Carbonari, CEO of AutoScout24. "Our advertisers – private users as well as professional dealers – also profit from our cooperation with ViaMichelin in terms of a significant increase in demand.“ Via its own newsletter as well as that of ViaMichelin, the AutoScout24 editorial team will reach in the future a pan-European readership numbering 1.7 million people interested in automobiles. The offer is already available in Germany, France, Italy and Spain; the Netherlands are to follow.
ViaMichelin offers route planners for all of Europe and North America, as well as map material for other countries. A main focus of the offer under www.viamichelin.com is provided with about 70,000 hotel and restaurant recommendations as well as 21,000 tips to European travel destinations and places of interest from the well-known "Guide Michelin“. The newsletter "Automobile and Mobility“ with test reports and news from the automobile world completes the European online portal currently available in seven languages and for 13 countries. Per month, the service records about 22 million users Europe-wide.
